Enjoy a Dream of a Ride in south Vietnam in this incredible 10 day trip. Push your limits and ride under Eagle’s wings. Venture on the Hochiminh Trail and central highlands, the land of mysteries and legends. Journey runs from Saigon to Central highlands, along the Cambodian and Laos border to Hue and ends in Hoian. Over 1,500 km road with on and off-roads including the 9 nights to stay overnight at local home stay, and our 2 – 3 stars hotels with swimming pools. Learn about the different culture and traditional custom of the Viet people in the central Vietnam. Don’t misunderstand it with the other touristy activities and entertainments.
We do not offer the cheap motorbike-taxi easy riders, we do the professional tours only.

DAY 1: SAI GON – CU CHI TUNNEL – 180 km
Meet our team in the night before this departure date at your hotel to sign up the tour contract and insurances. It’s also time for you to check again about the guide’s English, his motorcycles and the riding gears. Pick up in the morning and depart your trip from your hotels. Today you will travel by the small back roads through the rubbers plantations to visit the heroic Cu Chi tunnel – you can do gun shooting here (optional), visit the Rat meat village, visit the Burning tank, visit the HCM Trail bridge. We’ll stay overnight at the 2* hotel at the border town.
DAY 2: FARM STAY – 200 km
We’ll travel along the Cambodia border on the west of Vietnam, through the National Park by the historic Hochiminh Trail. This route will bring us on the 1,000 m high mountains and in deep jungles. Optional: for the challenge riders, you can book the Kawasaki 125cc / Honda XR 250cc dirt bikes and ride on some of the hard off roads. Along the way you can stop to visit: the Tea town, the butterfly-paintings family. We will arrive at the Farm stay – owned by a Belgian couple; in the middle of the rice fields and coffee farms. You will stay overnight at the private bungalows, next to a waterfall, the flower garden and a pool. You can join in with the family to cook your dinner and make the BBQ party, have some cold beers and relax next to the camp-fire in the evening.
DAY 3: LAM DONG – 150 km
Our riding today is very easy, travel up and down along the 1,500 m high mountains, along the way will visit: the coffee farms, the Chicken village, visit Pongour – the 2nd biggest waterfall in South Vietnam. We’ll stay overnight at the 2* hotel.
DAY 4: ELEPHANTS VILLAGE – 160 km
We travel to the countryside and visit: the coffee plantations, the weasel coffee making, the silk weaving factory, a Buddhist temple, the mushroom farms. The roads are the small roads in the quiet countryside, about 50 km off-roads for the dirt-bikes. Arrive in Lak Lake, the homeland of the Mnong ethnic minority people, here you can book to ride the elephants, or to enjoy the traditional music show with the can wine. Stay overnight at the 2 stars resort or do homestay with a local family.
DAY 5: DAK LAK – 150 km
We continue to travel by the small roads to the west of Lak Lake on the 500 m high mountains; we’ll visit Draysap National Park where you can swim at a waterfall or do a short trek in the forest. Have lunch at a local shop with the spring-rolls. In the afternoon will arrive at Buon ma thuot; it’s the center of coffee making in Vietnam. Stay overnight at the 2* hotel in B.M.T.
DAY 6: GIA LAI – 250 km
It’s the long ride through the rubber plantations and the old war memorials. Along this road we’ll do: learn about the history of the Road 14 in the Vietnam War; visit the old battle-fields at: Pleime, Pleiku, Dragon Volcano Mountain, Chu Mon Ray Mountain; visit the Ede ethnic minority villages, and their pepper plantations. Stay overnight at the 2* hotel in Kon Tum.
DAY 7: KHAM DUC AIRBASE – 180 km
In the morning we’ll visit the Ba Na ethnic minority village, and their special Rong house. Out off Kon Tum about 30 km; we can visit the famous battle-fields at: the Charlie hill, Dac To base, Tan Canh airbase, the original Hochiminh Trail near the Indochina border. The road today is the historic Hochiminh Road which is built on the direction of the original trail, along the 1,000 m high mountains and deep jungles. We can stop for swimming at the waterfall (only in the summer season) and enjoy some local foods and drink. We’ll stay overnight at the 2 stars hotel in Kham Duc – knows as the gold mine in Vietnam.
DAY 8: HAMBURGER HILL – 200 km
Today we will visit the old Special Force camp – it’s a hidden place nobody know in Kham Duc, and continue to travel on the historic Hochiminh Trail along the Laos border on the 700 m high mountain and then go down to the coast. Along the way we’ll stop to visit the KoTu ethnic minority village, and the rice-papers making village. From here our team continue to travel along the HCM Trail further up north cross the Laos border at some points, still on the 1,000 m high mountains. In the end of the day we will stop at the valley know as the Hamburger Hill as it’s famous by a movie. We will stay at a local guest house.
DAY 9: HUE – 150 km
There are still more interesting things to see like Khe Sanh memorial, D.M.Z but we may do it for another trip, at this time we will leave the central highlands to go down to the coast and to visit the old kingdom of Vietnam at Hue. Here you can visit the old citadel, King’s tombs, temples or doing the boat trip in the evening (optional). We’ll still travel by the small back roads through the quiet countryside to Hue not using the busy highway. We’ll stay overnight at the 2* hotel at the center of the city.
DAY 10: HOIAN – 130 km
In 2008 while our VIETNAMRIDER® Travel Company has been invited to do a show on Vietnam Television Channel there was another series called Top Gear made their cheap funny movie about when they travel through Vietnam by the old small motorbikes, one of their day ride was between Hue and Hoi An so after that day the local called this road by that name: Top Gear road. What we will do today is travel on this famous road, via Lang Co beach, over the Hai Van Pass on the 500 m high mountain and down to Da Nang bay, stop by the marble mountain and have lunch in Hoi An. Our trip will end at your hotel.
