DAY 1: NHA TRANG – DA LAT – 140 km
Pick up and depart from your hotel. We’ll travel by the small roads to the countryside of Nha Trang and visit: the Cham temple; the old Japanese bridge; the sleeping-mats making; the rice-papers making; the rice-noodles making; the conical-hats making; the rice fields; the Gia-rai ethnic minority village; the Linh Phuoc temple with the Buddha statue that is made by thousands of flowers – it’s recognized in the Guinness book since 2010. Enjoy the ride on the Omega Pass – it’s one of the most beautiful roads in Vietnam, on the 1,500m mountain, with many waterfalls on the roadside and sightseeing stops. Stay overnight at 2 stars hotel in Da Lat.
DAY 2: THE FARM STAY – 150 km
Continue to explore Dalat countryside, you can visit: the coffee plantations, the weasel coffee farm, the silk weaving factory, the mushroom farms, the Pongour – it’s 2nd biggest waterfall in South Vietnam, the Kho minority village; and you also can test your riding on about 50 km off-road. Do homestay at Farm Stay – owned by a Belgian couple; in the middle of the rice fields and coffee farms. Stay overnight at the private bungalows, next to a waterfall, the flower garden and a pool. You can book the family to cook your dinner and make the BBQ party (optional), have some cold beers and relax next to the camp-fire in the evening.
DAY 3: MUI NE BEACH – 150 km
With VIETNAMRIDER® you will have a chance to travel on this adventure road, it’s a nice road with beautiful landscape, through the high mountains, deep jungles and minority villages, some off-roads as it’s more interesting. From the highland you will run down to the beach with white sand dunes, through the cashew-nut farms, the dragon-fruit farms, the fishing village and arrive at the blue ocean in Mui ne. Stay overnight at a resort with a swimming pool on the beach.
DAY 4: THE HOCHIMINH TRAIL AT SEA – 160 km
All the others will ride from Mui Ne to Saigon by the Highway No.1 which is full of traffic and boring. Our own road today is on the hidden Hochiminh Trail At Sea – it’s the 2nd part of the historic Hochiminh trail along the mountain between Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Along the way we also visit the famous Long Tan Cross – it’s the old battlefields of the Australian army in South Vietnam. Stay overnight at a hotel at a small local town, non touristy – it used to be the town where all the Australian soldiers spent their weekend in the 1960s’.
DAY 5: SAI GON – 150 km
After visit the salt fields in the morning we will travel to the west through the rubber plantations, then take a boat trip to cross a part of Mekong Delta to enter Saigon. End tour.
