If you have ever thought about what it would be like to ride both paved and gravel roads, this tour is for you. We have built this tour for all skill levels and experience and it is the perfect introduction to the dual sport riding culture. Our tour guides have scouted the safest roads in order to enjoy the splendor of riding through the most beautiful and untapped areas of Central Highlands and the Hochiminh Trail. TOUR PROGRAM:
Duration: 6 days – 5 nights.
Travel options: Guided Self-drive. Pillion passengers. Vietnam riders. Cars.
Departure locations: Nha Trang or you also can do it on the opposite direction from Hoi An.
We do not use the called easy riders (local motorbike taxi drivers – Uber drivers) in Nha Trang.
DAY 1: NHA TRANG – DA LAT – 140 km
From your hotel you will travel by the small roads straight to the countryside where you can visit: the rice-papers making village, the yellow-noodles making village, the Giarai ethnic minority village, cross the Cai river by the floating bamboo bridge, the Linh Phuoc temple with the Buddha statue that is made by a thousand of flowers – it’s recognized in the Guinness book. You will travel on the Omega Pass at the height of 1500 m, it’s one of the most beautiful roads in Vietnam. Along this road there are some nice waterfalls and the beautiful scenery. Stay overnight at hotel at the center of the city.
DAY 2: LAK LAKE – 150 km
You will explore the countryside in Da Lat by visit: the coffee plantations, the weasel coffee making, the silk weaving factory, a Buddhist temple, the mushroom farms. The roads are the small roads in the quiet countryside, about 50 km off-roads for the dirt-bikes. Arrive in Lak Lake, the homeland of the Mnong ethnic minority people, here you can book to ride the elephants, or to enjoy the traditional music show with the can wine. Stay overnight at the 2 stars resort or do homestay with a local family, beside of the lake.
DAY 3: BUON MA THUOT – 100 km
You will continue to travel by the small roads to the west of Lak Lake on the 500 m high mountains; visit Draysap National Park where you can swim at a waterfall or do a short trek in the forest. Have lunch at a local shop with the spring-rolls. In the afternoon will arrive at B.M.T; it’s the center of coffee making in Vietnam. Stay overnight at the 2 stars hotel at the center of the city.
DAY 4: KON TUM – 250 km
It’s the long ride through the rubber plantations and the old war memorials. Along this road you can do: learn about the history of the Road 14 in the Vietnam war; visit the old battle-fields at: Pleime, Pleiku, Dragon Volcano Mountain, Chu Mon Ray mountain; visit the Ede ethnic minority villages, and their pepper plantations. Stay overnight at the 2 stars hotel at the center of city.
DAY 5: KHAM DUC – 180 km
In Kontum, you can visit: the Ba Na ethnic minority village and their special Rong house, the famous battle-fields at: Charlie hill, Dac To base, Tan Canh airbase, the original Hochiminh Trail near the Indochina border. Today you will travel on the historic Hochiminh Road – the highlight of this tour, it is built on the direction of the original trail, along the 1,000 m high mountains and deep jungles. You can stop for swimming at the waterfall (only in the summer season) and enjoy some local foods and drink on this route. Stay overnight at the 2 stars hotel in Kham Duc – knows as the gold mine in Vietnam.
DAY 6: HOI AN – 130 km
In Kham Duc you can visit the old Special Force camp – it’s a hidden place nobody know, and continue to travel on the historic Hochiminh Trail along the Laos border on the 700 m high mountain and then go down to the coast. Along the way you can stop to visit the KoTu ethnic minority village, and the rice-papers making village. You will have lunch and check the famous clothes shops in Hoi An old town. End tour.
