DAY 1: HA NOI – NINH BINH – 100 km
This motorbike tour is our good tour to discover the beautiful countryside between Hanoi and Hoian via the Hochiminh Trail. We’ll pick you up and start our tour from Hanoi, and ride to Ninh Binh today. Highlights: Do the boat trip to explore the famous Ha Long Bay in land in Tam Coc . Visit the old Rocky Citadel in Hoa Lu, our professional tour leader will help you to escape the busy traffic in Hanoi by the small back roads to the quiet countryside. We’ll stay overnight at the 2 stars hotel in Ninh Binh.
DAY 2: VINH – 180 km
This is the simple road to ride on from Ninh Binh to Vinh – this place is the homeland of Ho Chi Minh. Highlights: Visit the old Temple of a Vietnamese King . Visit the old Ho Citadel . Visit Ho Chi Minh’s House. We’ll stay overnight at the 2 stars hotel in Vinh.
DAY 3: PHONG NHA – 180 km
This is the new road that is built on the direction of the historic Hochiminh Trail, from Vinh to Phong Nha National Park. Highlights: Enjoy the ride on the historic Hochiminh Road. Visit the old battlefields in Dong Loc. Sightseeing on the 500 m high mountains. Visit the old Khe Cat airbase. Enjoy our Vietnamese traditional foods for lunch. We’ll do homestay with a local family in Phong Nha.
DAY 4: PHONG NHA – 80 km
We’ll do the short day tour today at Phong Nha National Park. Highlights: Ride through the deep jungle inside Phong Nha National Park. Do a trekking to discover the Paradise Cave – it’s a newly found cave in this area, it was regarded as the largest and longest cave in Phong Nha. The cave was discovered by a local man in 2005. The first 5 km of this cave was explored by explorers from the British Cave Research Association in 2005; later in 2010 the whole 31 km was explored and announced by the association. This is also the largest cave in the world. You will enjoy our Vietnamese traditional foods for lunch. We’ll do homestay with a local family in Phong Nha.
DAY 5: KHE SANH – 200 km
This road is the new Hochiminh Road that is built on the direction of the original Hochiminh Trail, we’ll ride from Phong Nha to Khe Sanh today. Highlights: Enjoy our ride on the historic Hochiminh Trail along Laos border. Visit the famous Khe Sanh Base, here you will learn that it’s Vietnam War not like the Australian who run their own business in Vietnam called it the American War to earn money from tourists. Visit the famous Dak Rong Bridge. Visit the Kotu minority villages. We’ll stay overnight at the 2 stars hotel in Khe Sanh.
DAY 6: HUE – 180 km
Today we’ll cross the old border between North and South Vietnam in the Vietnam War. Highlights: Enjoy your ride on the historic Road 9. Visit the famous Rock-pile. Visit the famous D.M.Z and Hien Luong Bridge. Enjoy the boat trip and the Royal Dinner in the evening in Hue (optional). You will enjoy our Vietnamese traditional foods for lunch. We’ll stay overnight at the 2 stars hotel in Hue.
DAY 7: HOIAN – 130 km
Before 2008 nobody knew about this route. Everything has changed since the BBC Top Gear made their funny show about riding on this route between Hoian and Hue. Since that there are lots of tourists have tried to do the same. Highlights: Enjoy the ride on the road so called Top Gear along the coast, Lang Co Beach, and Hai Van Pass on the 500 m high mountain. Stop for sightseeing at Da Nang Bay, and visit the Marble mountain. Our tour will finish at our office in Hoian.
